What is the Mt. San Antonio College High School Referral Program?

The High School Referral Program offers high school students the opportunity to retake classes to earn a higher grade and/or make-up credits. Credentialed teachers supervise the classroom and provide individual instruction and support.

Are there any requirements for admission?

Students must be currently enrolled in high school and have a referral form signed by both a parent and a counselor.

Where is the program located?

The program is located in Building 30 at Mt. San Antonio College.

What time is the program open?

Class is in session from 4:00pm‐8:00pm Monday‐Thursday except for Electives which are in session from 5:30pm‐8:30pm.

Are you college Ready?

On Saturday, January 28, 2017, UCLA Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement will be hosting a special program called Get College Ready! targeting 8th-11th grade students and their parents/caregivers. This college knowledge event will inspire students to strive for college and learn what it takes to Get Ready. There will be workshops for students and parents/caregivers about college admissions, financial aid, student panel, etc. The event will be held on the UCLA campus and will be FREE. It is a great program to bring a group of students to enjoy. Parking and lunch provided for guests, but they must register individually through the on-line registration site (www.admission.ucla.edu/events/GetCollegeReady ).

Accelerated Summer Mathematics Academy (ASMA)

• Receive 32 hours of math tutorial services at UC Riverside campus

• Earn full college admissions credit for summer math courses

• Tour local colleges and universities

In addition, participants will experience hands on Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM), hear personal stories from individuals in STEM Careers and learn the African History of Mathematics.
