What is the Mt. San Antonio College High School Referral Program?

The High School Referral Program offers high school students the opportunity to retake classes to earn a higher grade and/or make-up credits. Credentialed teachers supervise the classroom and provide individual instruction and support.

Are there any requirements for admission?

Students must be currently enrolled in high school and have a referral form signed by both a parent and a counselor.

Where is the program located?

The program is located in Building 30 at Mt. San Antonio College.

What time is the program open?

Class is in session from 4:00pm‐8:00pm Monday‐Thursday except for Electives which are in session from 5:30pm‐8:30pm.

San Gabriel Valley District of Women’s Club Academic Scholarship

Seniors, who are pursuing a career all areas of study, excluding music may apply. Scholarships of $500.00 will be awarded.

Applicants Must Meet Minimum Requirements:

  1. Have  a 3.0 GPA
  2. Be a legal resident of the San Gabriel Valley District
  3. Have verification of Legal Presence in the United States of America
  4. Be a graduating high school SENIOR entering college or university in the Fall 2017
  5. Be an active participant in one or more organization in the community

The Nancy Mc Mullen Scholarship for the Visual Arts

Must be a graduating SENIOR from Walnut High School who is interested in pursuing an art degree.

Nancy McMullen was an exemplary elementary school teacher who not only loved teaching but was also a dedicated artist. Her work in water color brought her joy and enriched the lives of her students, her family and her friends. It is the goal of this scholarship to have her memory and love of art carried on by others.

If you are interested in applying, please provide the following information. You may submit this application electronically along with a photo of one of your works to (Please note that there is no “e”). If you chose to submit this in written form along with the picture, please give it to Ms. Gonzales the Assistant Principal.

2017 Walnut Valley Education Foundation Student Scholarship Application


The Walnut Valley Educational Foundation will be awarding three (3) scholarships of $1,000 to graduating seniors. The scholarship will be awarded in one or more of the following categories:

Visual and Performing Arts

Industrial Technology

Teen Citizen
